ROLE: ART DIRECTION & GRAPHIC DESIGN
YEAR: 2024 DØBT (translated as BAPTISED) tells the story of a young woman struggling to lead a normal life while being haunted by her past of grooming and sexual assault. Such a powerful and personal story deserved a book cover that reflected its emotional depth. 

I worked closely with the author to find the right visual direction, drawing inspiration from water, a significant and recurring element throughout the novel. This theme is subtly woven into the typography, colours and hand-painted details on the cover.
